ShieldFlow Privacy Policy

ShieldFlow is a VPN service. We respect your privacy and collect the minimum data needed to provide the service.

What data we process

A technical app-installation identifier, ad-session timing, and any diagnostics you choose to send to support. We do not ask for your name, ID documents, or precise address.

Product analytics

To improve onboarding, connection reliability, retention, and the referral program, we record technical product events: installation and daily app opens, rewarded-ad presentation and completion, first VPN connection, reaching 10 minutes of VPN use, and opening, sharing, redeeming, or completing a referral. Events may include the randomly generated app-installation identifier, event time, app version and build, system locale, and the selected VPN server.

We also receive impression-level advertising revenue metrics from Appodeal, including revenue amount in USD, ad format, placement, demand source, and measurement precision. ShieldFlow stores these events on its backend and uses them only in aggregate to measure the product funnel, D1/D7 retention, advertising revenue, and 7/30-day LTV. These events do not contain visited websites, DNS queries, VPN traffic contents, precise location, name, or email, and ShieldFlow does not sell them.

Traffic logs

We do NOT log your activity: we keep no history of visited sites, DNS queries, or traffic contents. VPN nodes are configured without connection logging.

Advertising in the mobile app

Free access in the ShieldFlow mobile app is funded by ads, provided by third-party ad networks — our partners:

• Appodeal (Appodeal, Inc.) — advertising mediation platform that runs a real-time auction across the demand sources below and may itself process the technical data listed here — privacy policy;
• Google AdMob (Google LLC) — privacy policy;
• Yandex Advertising Network / Yandex Mobile Ads and the AppMetrica analytics service (Yandex LLC) — privacy policy;
• AppLovin (AppLovin Corporation) — privacy policy.

These partners may independently process technical device data to select, show, and measure ads: the device advertising identifier (IDFA/GAID), IP address, device model, OS version, system language, and ad-interaction data, governed by each network's own policies. Ads are shown before the VPN connection is established or within the app interface; ad networks do not get access to the contents of your VPN traffic.

Payment data

Paid unlocking of iOS app features is not available on the website. If paid digital features appear in the app in the future, they will be handled through App Store mechanisms.

Sharing with third parties

Apart from the advertising partners listed above, we do not sell or share your data with third parties, except where directly required by law.
